Mission Statement

Africa Schoolhouse Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable and educational organization that is a public charity for U.S. tax purposes and registered Tanzanian Non-Governmental Organization (NGO). We are committed to building sustainable school communities for children in under-served areas of Africa. Our goal is to aid the progress of learning using technology and environmentally conscious methods while safeguarding the traditional teachings of cultural heritage.


Partners

Misungwi District, Tanzanian Government: Through a Memorandum of Understanding, the local branch of the Tanzanian government has joined with Africa Schoolhouse to staff and maintain the Ntulya Primary School.

Go! Campaign : Go! Campaign is dedicated to empowering orphans and vulnerable children throughout the world to secure a better future. They are a youth-driven nonprofit that cuts out the red tape and provides a direct connection to deserving grass-roots organizations serving children in need.

The School Fund:  The School Fund is an innovative person-to-person funding platform that connects students in the developing world with funders around the globe. On our site, funders see exactly who and what their money goes to and students and funders communicate directly with one another via online journals. The School Fund aims to set new standards in international aid by increasing transparency and communication in our student-funder process.
